STL Symphony in the Community
Musicians of the St. Louis Symphony are an integral part of the community, sharing the gift of music with tens of thousands of people each year with free community and education programs. This outreach includes STL Symphony musician residencies in classrooms through Symphony In Your School, performances in hospitals and nursing homes through SymphonyCares, our flagship IN UNISON diversity program in partnership with 40+ primarily African American churches, and our deepening connection with St. Louis' immigrant/refugee population through Music Without Boundaries. We also present a variety of free community chamber concerts through Symphony In The City, Symphony In Your Neighborhood, Symphony In Your College, and Symphony Where You Worship.
Free Community Concerts
Musicians from the St. Louis Symphony have a long tradition of making beautiful live music accessible to everyone in the Greater St. Louis Area with free chamber concerts and events. Whether on our own stage, at a favorite neighborhood venue, a house of worship, college, or senior center, you can find musicians from the STL Symphony in many community performances that are free and open to the public. All community concerts are casual, last about an hour, and all ages are welcome. No tickets or reservations are necessary unless specifically noted.
