Red Velvet Ball
The STL Symphony’s Gala is an elegant evening featuring a concert by the STL Symphony and an internationally renowned guest artist, followed by a black-tie dinner. The Gala is attended by hundreds of leaders from the regional business community and St. Louis society.
Gypsy Caravan
Since 1973, the St. Louis Symphony Volunteer Association has presented one of the largest antique, craft and flea markets in the Midwest, annually attracting more than 15,000 shoppers.
Carnegie Hall Performances
The STL Symphony is one of an elite group of American orchestras invited to perform annually on the country’s most prestigious concert stage, Carnegie Hall. Sponsorship of the Orchestra’s Carnegie Hall appearance offers national visibility along with unique hospitality options for client entertainment.
Education Programs
Approximately 40,000 area youth and their teachers from 1,000 public, private, parochial and home schools attend education concerts at Powell Hall each year. In addition, the STL Symphony provides hundreds of free, in-school presentations and other programs including Adopt-A-School, a focused music education partnership with a select group of schools.
Picture the Music and Express the Music
Picture the Music and Express the Music are creative competitions which encourage youth to express their reactions and experiences to a selection of music through either two-dimensional art or a short essay or story.
St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra
For more than 40 years, the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra has provided a professional atmosphere and performance outlet for the area's most talented orchestra students.
Community Partnership Program
Through the Community Partnership Program, Symphony musicians present more than 250 free events within a 100-mile radius of St. Louis in churches, parks, schools, nursing homes, libraries and community centers.
